Individuals suffering from cancer and chronic illnesses are often overwhelmed with numerous challenges, including family system dynamics, the tumult of intense and fluctuating emotions of fear, anxiety, depression, anger and anticipatory grief. These challenges can bring up existential questions regarding the meaning of life and personal faith. My experience as a therapist has inspired my counseling style as one where there is space for clients to process these important questions without judgment.
