Our communities deserve healing, hope and empowerment. I offer compassionate, culturally responsive care for Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC). Together the team at The Essence Behavioral Health aims to break the stigma around mental health, address disparities in care, and build spaces where healing is collective and achievable. Growth and resilience begin when we heal - individually and as a community. We also offer groups for children and teens to address stress, anxiety, depression and trauma, focusing on coping skills that instill resilience and empowerment. View 10 Photos As a Hindu Indo- Guyanese psychotherapist, I aim to create a safe space for others using CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and Motivational Interviewing to work with children and adolescents. I offer support with managing anxiety, stress, ADHD, and educating on coping skills.
