About
Hello. I am a psychotherapist in Midtown Manhattan with over ten years' experience providing coaching, counseling, and psychological treatment to adults of all ages. I see clients dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship conflicts, grief and loss, mental illness, and existential or spiritual concerns. I also work extensively with trauma, including complex trauma and trauma-related disorders that can leave you feeling detached from yourself and those around you. Living in the world today is seldom easy. And far too many of us face barriers and pressures that can be overwhelming when faced alone. Prior to my clinical training, I was a professor of philosophy at a research university. So, my approach is informed by the world's philosophical traditions, both Eastern and Western. My clients come from every race, religion, and sexual or political orientation. And I bring a profound respect for human difference to my work, as well as our shared humanity.
