I am the Executive Director and co-founder of the Central Iowa Family Institute. I worked with literally thousands of clients during my career as a licensed marriage and family therapist, educator, and consultant. With 30 years of experience, I've developed an integrated client-focused approach that combines family systems, positive psychology, communications theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, and emotionally focused therapy. I try to engender trust, hope, openness, warmth, respect, and a sense of humor in my work with clients.
