When we avoid dealing with painful emotions and experiences, we allow emotional wounds to develop. Emotional wounds are just as serious as physical wounds, and need just as much attention and care. When we neglect emotional injuries, we allow the wounds to fester and infect other areas of our life. Our therapeutic style focuses on confronting painful emotions and understanding their role in interpersonal emotional reactivity. For this reason, therapy is intense and emotionally heightened. It brings out individuals' most vulnerable emotions and promotes the expression of the true self. We work with individuals, couples, families, and offer flexible appointment times to meet the needs of busy families. We also offer IN-PERSON and VIRTUAL sessions. We offer medication management and psychiatry.
