Hi! My name is Wendy and I have been working in the Social Work field for well over 20 years. I started in the world of substance use/abuse assessment and treatment. I earned my master's degree in Social Work from Cal State Los Angeles in 2010 and have been working as a therapist since 2011. I have worked with kids, up to age 16, in foster care. I've worked with school-aged children with developmental disabilities, coordinating services for them and their families. I became Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in 2017 and have been working with formerly homeless military veterans. In our first session together, you can expect to just chat about who you are and the areas that you think I could best serve you in. You can expect me to ask questions about who You are and what makes you, You, including all the systems at play in your world.
