I work with parents just like you who are struggling to figure out what's going wrong. My treatment approach focuses on helping clients better understand the challenges they're experiencing and offering specific strategies to make things better. My therapeutic style stems from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) -- which emphasizes how thoughts, feelings and behaviors influence each other -- and I incorporate a variety of additional methods, including expressive techniques (e.g., writing, drawing) and play therapy, especially with younger clients.
