Many of my clients have told me how different I am from therapists they've had before. I attribute this to my particular education, training, and life experiences. all of which have made me unique in this field. I bring these qualities to every session. Therapy can change people's lives. I know this firsthand. The best therapists work collaboratively with clients, establish good boundaries, draw from a wide breadth of education and personal experience, offer care and comfort, as well as gentle challenges and meaning-making. It's a privilege and an honor to earn trust and work with clients on what is most important to them. I'm an encouraging and active partner in clients' self-discovery. Among the populations I serve most often are artists, writers, and those who wish to claim those identifiers; single people; queer and/or gender non-conforming people; heterosexual and LGBTQI people. I'm a member of the National Queer and Trans Therapists of Color Network.
