As a first generation Latina woman, I believe in breaking down the cultural barriers and stigma involved with underserved populations receiving mental health services. I enjoy working with individuals who are looking for short term therapy; as well as individuals who want to dive deep in exploring impact earlier life experiences have on behaviors, feelings, thought processes and personality traits. I take a holistic approach and consider various environmental stressors that can impact our emotional health including: trauma/complex trauma, attachment/loss, chronic illness, housing stability, life phases, parenting, employment, etc.
