Life can be painful, overwhelming, and confusing at times. It is easy to become discouraged and want to give up when things are not going our way. But even though we may feel tired, weak, or demoralized, in reality we have many unrealized strengths and can learn new, more effective ways of dealing with the many challenges that life throws our way. My background is in working with adult clients with mood-related problems (depression, Bipolar Disorder), anxiety, anger, stress management, adjustment issues, interpersonal problems, personality disorders, and substance use issues. I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches to guide the counseling process and help you work toward your goals.
