I believe that our past experiences have dictated the way we react as a child, a teen, and an adult, a family or as couple with our current situation. Having a better understanding about why we do these things can create a lasting change on our perspective of life. Viewing your emotional pain as who you are continues to increase any and all symptoms. Guilt and shame start to set in and the struggle to get through life becomes unmanageable.
