I am Dr. Willie Boddie, LCSW. I work with adults who live with the effects of trauma, HIV disease, and members of the LBGTQIA+ community. I provide individual counseling focusing on the challenging thoughts that result in emotional disturbances. I use a client-centered approach to therapy. I build on the client's strengths and use those strengths as a foundation to develop new coping strategies to help them meet their desired goals. I attempt to create a calm and neutral setting so that clients feel comfortable discussing more difficult and sensitive topics frequently associated with traumatic situations.
