As a First Responder Victim Witness Specialist, working side by side with LEOs,EMS,Fire and coroners from on scene moments of crisis through the adjudication process and beyond. In my years in this experience I have acquired an understanding of the unique stressors that not only victims of crime face but also the first responders. Vicarious trauma can have a lasting impact on these lives and the lives of their families often leading to PTSD, Addiction, Relationship/Maritial difficulties and many other stressors. It is my passion to see less suffering and suicide in the First Response family as well as Military.
