What’s the point of therapy? It’s to help you change the trajectory of your life and that of your descendants. The task of growing, growing up, raising children, and being in a family and society is simply too big to do without help. Being a human being is an enormous task, but when we live with bravery, integrity, humor, fun, spontaneity, and discipline, we can learn to forge happiness and well-being even in the midst of profound struggle. Therapy is about learning how to be in your life in a more satisfying way, but it’s also about learning to be with other people.
