My name is Yolanda Colon, LMSW. My ideal client is someone who feels emotionally overwhelmed—whether by anxiety, depression, grief, or major life transitions—and is seeking clarity, relief, and support. I frequently work with members of the Latino/Latina community who are navigating the complexities of bicultural identity, family expectations, and generational stress. My clients want to feel truly understood, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change while honoring their cultural values and roots. I provide a safe, culturally sensitive, and bilingual therapeutic space—offering sessions in both English and Spanish. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Compassion-Focused techniques, I help clients manage emotional challenges, explore identity, and strengthen their relationships. My approach is warm and collaborative.
