After years of academic study of psychology, I moved my focus to clinical work. As a licensed therapist, I have been working with diverse populations in both the United States and China. I believe every therapy is cross-cultural therapy and it is important to listen to clients’ narratives from their own perspectives. My style is practical and interactive. I work collaboratively with my clients regarding treatment goals and I place the search for personal truth at the core of my therapeutic approach. I encourage people to develop curiosity about their own behaviors and look for deeper patterns and structures.
