I have always known that I wanted to be in the helping professions, and that is what led me to earn my BS in Social Work, my MS from Johns Hopkins in Counseling, and my Doctorate in Behavioral Health from Arizona State. I have a mother who needs a lot of support, compassion, and empathy, so I decided to be the best I can be in the therapeutic profession to help her and others. My approach is to use the most validated therapeutic approaches to empower clients to explore their strengths and build upon their competencies to enhance their lives and allow them to find their inner capability to pick themselves up when needed.
