My aim is to help people meet their treatment goals by providing a warm, welcoming, safe place for individuals of all backgrounds and identities. As a firm believer in each person being the “expert” of their own lives, my overall approach to therapy is that of collaboration within the therapeutic relationship. I facilitate exploration of presenting problems, and may teach some useful skills to try out, while you remain the one who knows best what will work well in your own life. I use a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic therapy, interpersonal process therapy, and aspects of mindfulness.
