I aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment where individuals feel empowered to rediscover their inherent strength and wholeness. Often these fundamental aspects of ourselves can be blocked from our awareness by distortions of thought, faulty beliefs, traumas, or accumulated experiences, so I support my clients to identify these blocks and to learn let them go. As this process unfolds, we may work toward developing self-compassion, mindfulness, and healthy and fulfilling behavioral changes. My approach is a combination of person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and expressive arts therapy.
