With clients dealing with any issues whether that may be anxiety, depression or family problems, I like to use a person centered approach to build rapport with that client to make them feel comfortable in what may be a very uncomfortable time for them. The client's I work with who are successful are motivated for treatment and willing to focus on the positive re-framing and restructuring of their negative and intrusive thoughts.
