Hi there! And a warm welcome to your initial stages of finding a therapist. My philosophy on diagnoses and the issues people bring is that they really only tell me a slice of someone's story. Typically, the issues we explore end up serving as a gateway to getting to know YOU in a much more comprehensive way. If you are interested in deepening your understanding of yourself, how you navigate the world, and how your past comes alive in the present, I can be of help. As we build your relational and self-awareness, we can explore ways for you to take accountability and ownership of your life. I lead with curiosity and empathy, validate your experiences, and challenge you (appropriately) to help you understand and refine your current toolkit. Our therapeutic relationship also serves as a vessel for healing and change. It is a place to show up as yourself and safely experiment with other ways of communicating and relating with a fellow human being.
