I am a licensed clinical social worker, and I provide a gentle treatment approach. I have experience in a variety of clinical settings that broadened my understanding of mental illness. My experience led me to view symptoms as adaptive mechanisms. Despite our circumstances, I have found that we all possess an innate ability to survive extreme stress. My aim in treatment is to help you to recognize your abilities to move from surviving to thriving. I use a trauma informed lens to approach delicate treatment issues. For those struggling to overcome anxiety, traumatic experiences, PTSD, and addictions, I offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I also incorporate mindfulness, CBT and Motivational Interviewing (MI) in my practice.
