Hi, I’m Alaina (she/her). I’m a pre-licensed counseling intern therapist completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Naropa University. I work with individuals of all ages with care for each person’s unique inner world. In my view, wellbeing isn’t about trying to get rid of what’s painful or difficult, it’s about growing our capacity to directly meet our always-shifting experiences, the “good” and the “bad,” with an attitude of curiosity, friendliness, and non-judgment. I see the therapeutic relationship as a co-created space where we can meet questions together, not a place where I offer all the answers.
