I do individual psychotherapy with adults, children and adolescents, and couples and families. I work with my clients to improve their relationships and aspects of their personalty and feelings about themselves; to better manage and understand emotions such as depressed mood and anxiety; and to reduce problems with partners, children, and co-workers. I typically use an integrative approach that incorporates psychodynamic and cognitive principles, and my clients and I construct a climate that feels safe for examining the difficult emotions, thoughts, and situations that have interfered with their pleasure and satisfaction.
