“The unexamined life is not worth living.” These words spoken by Socrates have been, whether known or not consciously known, the guiding force that has brought individuals, families, and couples to my office. Whether they have been experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship stress, illness, or substance abuse, a common thread runs through them all: the desire to feel more connected to others and to themselves; to experience a sense of aliveness and joy through such relationships. In your strive for wholeness, I pay attention to your unique life story to support you in reclaiming your authentic self. I have an extensive background in working with those impacted by trauma, relational stress, and anxiety. I incorporate a developmental and systemic perspective grounded in an attachment lens when working with clients. What this means is that I am most interested in meeting you where you are and understanding how your relationships shape who you are.
