You can learn how to build openness and acceptance for your feelings without feeling overwhelmed by them. I’m Alex - I'm a queer IFS therapist. For many years I had the same experience many of my clients have. Now I help clients get out of those familiar, constricting cycles. I use Internal Family Systems to help clients be present with their reactions - even if that feels impossible. This is a great fit for sensitive, anxious, over-thinkers. I work with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent adults, teens who are having a hard time even though they’re really smart, and parents who are finding intense feelings come up while parenting.
