I am a mental health counselor based in the West Des Moines office at Green Counseling Services, offering in-person and Telehealth sessions. I have worked in hospital inpatient settings, supporting patients through anticipatory grief, adjustment disorder, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and stress. I draw from an Existential-Humanistic approach, which focuses on helping people explore their meaning, values, and personal growth to build a stronger sense of self and resilience. And values creating a therapeutic and comfortable environment, using humor and compassion to connect with my clients. Grief is one of my main specialties, and I’m passionate about helping clients navigate loss in all its forms. Even if you’re not coming to therapy for grief, I’m here to support you through whatever challenges you’re facing.
