Since taking my first psychology course in high school, I knew that mental health counseling would be my career path. Understanding how trauma impacts the brain and how to unpack and adapt the information leading to a successful, functional life has always fascinated me. Since beginning my career in 2018, I have worked with at-risk youth and their families on many aspects of mental health including coping with trauma, stress, anxiety, problematic sexual behavior, parenting skills and positive communication.
