My name is Ali. For the past fifteen years, I have been in practice as a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. As a therapist, I am deeply curious and inquisitive. I am direct when I need to be. I believe that therapy is about making meaningful contact and connection with another individual. Connection requires warmth, kindness and humility, and I work hard to bring these qualities to my practice. Through my work, I’ve found that a bond develops between patient and therapist. Overtime, this bond has unique and mysterious healing powers. That’s the result I’m working to achieve. I work with adults, couples, and adolescents. Common issues I am asked to address are depression, anxiety, loneliness, grief, and trauma. In my practice, I work to help people better understand themselves, heal from adversities, build stronger interpersonal connections, navigate transitions, and enjoy more satisfying lives.
