About
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has had experience in child welfare, foster care and medical social work. I have training in CISN (Critical Incident Stress Debriefing) as well as palliative care. I believe that clarity on a stressful situation or event can often come about after having opportunities to talk about it. My training has equipped me to help individuals identify ways to recognize their strengths and apply them to their current circumstances to change their outlook. Creating a calm and empathetic environment is a high priority in my sessions with clients. I like to affirm clients' strengths and help identify areas to apply those strengths to change clients' perspectives on their current situations.
