Many times the journey of counseling is initiated by a life crisis, when one's resources have been exhausted and it is time to gather more tools for life's tool box. It is an act of strength to reach out, not a weakness. My diverse counseling career has prepared me to work effectively with people from various walks of life. I am not a fixer, I see myself as a facilitator of change. One of my main goals as a therapist is to teach people skills needed to increase feelings of independence and empowerment.
