As a therapist who’s been to therapy, I want to keep it real with you—therapy is hard work. It’s made up of many moving parts: awkwardness with opening up to a stranger, vulnerability from expressing emotions in a new space (maybe even for the first time), anger that can surface from unresolved trauma, & emotional exhaustion that comes with processing. But it's so worth it. That hard work can lead to a deeper understanding of yourself, healthier relationships, stronger boundaries, more emotional clarity, or finding and claiming more peace.
