Welcome! My name is Dr. Alison Hoyt. I often say, most people do not go skipping with joy to talk about some of the hardest things they carry in life. I respect and value how hard change can be, and even talking about change with a stranger that you do not yet really know! It is my goal and joy to create a safe and supportive place to work through goals in therapy. I view therapy as a toolbox -one in which we will work together to learn tools to help you achieve the goals you set in therapy. Part of therapy will be learning how everyone’s mind is unique to them and understanding how your mind can be a very valuable tool. I authentically value meeting people where they are in their journey and will customize treatment based upon your individual strengths and targeted areas of change.
