Our pets are often knit into the very fabric of our lives. When you have loved and lost, there can be an emptiness, a wound, that few words can describe. Not all understand the pain that comes from losing your four-legged family member. Sometimes all you need is a safe space and a willing ear to share your experience, acknowledge the heaviness in your heart, and provide you with support and coping strategies for moving forward. We never move on, those animals that share our life remain with us always, but we can find peace, joy, and hope once again. Whatever modality (Phone, Zoom, etc.) you choose for accessing mental health support after the loss of a pet, I will provide you with the opportunity to reminisce, cry, laugh, and begin to heal. Grief is not a one-size fits most experience. Every client and every story is unique. I will honor the path you walk.
