Does your teenager seem angry, irritable, or more moody lately? Is it tough to communicate with them due to they are always hiding out in their room or seemingly never being home anymore? These descriptions may look like changes in their personality, but they could be signs of emotional distress, depression, anxiety or another issue. So many teens are stressed and don't know how to ask for help. As their parent, you've tried to listen and be there for them, but they just reject any attempt you make to help. They may actually find it easier to open up to an objective stranger, like a therapist. I can help! I specialize in helping teens and young adults learn to cope with their feelings and manage their behaviors, communicate what they're going through. I also provide educations to parents regarding adolescent development. I offer individual therapy, parent support sessions, and family therapy, when recommended by me or requested by you.
