My name is Allison Andrade and as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I specialize in providing trauma-informed care to first responders. I’ve dedicated my practice to helping those who serve on the front lines—police, firefighters, EMTs, nurses, corrections —cope with the psychological toll of their work. These individuals often face chronic exposure to traumatic events, and my mission is to create a safe, warm and compassionate space where their experiences are validated and their healing is prioritized. I want all individuals to feel heard and supported in their journey of healing. It is not just about addressing the symptoms—like flashbacks, anxiety, or numbness—but about helping them reclaim a sense of agency and connection by empowering them and building resilience. My approach integrates evidence-based techniques with a deep understanding of occupational stress unique to emergency personnel.
