Discovering peace can feel like rushing out of a vicious storm into calm waters. My work purposes to create that sort of environment, a space of exploration, understanding, and insight, where you can be fully understood and find freedom. As a registered mental health counselor intern with a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science, my work blends scientific expertise with clinical insight and depth of empathy for each client’s unique viewpoint and experience. My approach to therapy is flexible and yet intentional, deeply delving into the root causes of struggles. Stemming from my experience as a professor, my philosophies of education and therapy overlap in that I believe that every individual holds the power to make the connections which lead to enduring understanding.
