Hi! I have over 20 years experience providing services to adults, children and families. My background is diverse and includes providing services to youth and their families in the home and in the community. I also have experience in various treatment settings, such as alcohol and drug treatment, veteran centers, non-profit organizations, and hospitals. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients to help improve communication, increase self-esteem, cope with loss and grief, and effectively manage emotions. Some interventions I employ include active listening, providing empathy, positive reframing, teaching and exploration and validation of feelings. Among the modalities I use in therapy are CBT, DBT, Client Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Behavioral Therapy.
