I'm Allison, owner/clinical director of Patch Counseling. At Patch Counseling, we speak teen. We know that adolescence is tough and we are here to bridge the gap between parents and their teen by providing individual therapy for the teen and parent coaching to increase communication that is HEARD. At this stage in development it's helpful to have another voice in the room. We help by providing a collaborative place for teens and transitional age youth to learn how to balance responsibilities, gain social skills and prepare for the next steps in their life (i.e. school transitions, getting their first job, driver's license, etc). We are here to guide you through the process of change. The core concepts we value are: compassion, collaboration and creativity. We aim to provide a non-judgmental place for you to explore the changes you want to make. We will collaborate with you in identifying what you'd like to get out of therapy, then assist in learning the practical skills you need.
