Throughout life, we develop certain ways of dealing with our thoughts and feelings that often aren’t helpful. We’re often taught to run from discomfort, “just stop thinking about it,” avoid important things because we could be uncomfortable doing them, and lots of other coping methods that work short term but don’t lead us to live rich lives. Therapy can be a place where you learn how to have a different relationship with your experience while simultaneously identifying your values and taking action towards them. I specialize in helping those with trauma, PTSD, OCD, GAD, Social Anxiety, relationship issues, self-worth, & depression.
