Allyson attended Temple University for undergraduate school where she studied Psychology and Criminal Justice. She attended John Jay College in New York City where she obtained two Master's degrees in, Forensic Psychology and Mental Health Counseling. She started her career within the Mental Health field about 10 years ago and enjoys helping others. She started her career working with children ages 7-16 doing in home Behavioral Modification Therapy. After two years and a desire to expand her skill set, Allyson shifted her client base. Allyson began working with teenage to young adult boys with whom were both mentally ill and in chronic Foster Care. She did intense individual and group therapy with them as well as Behavior Modifications. While working with these young men for over 3 years she also trained staff in Behavioral Modification techniques, Boundaries adherence and Self Awareness.
