I have extensive skills with adolescents/adults/families yet conceptualize my role as guiding others to vibrantly re-illuminate their lives. My passion for psychotherapy stems from my appreciation for communication as a healing agent, intensified by my MSc. in Speech Pathology from McGill University. When challenged by traumatic medical events, I was struck by patients’ capacity to recover cognitive-linguistic functioning as well as purpose/identity. At Nova Southeastern University, I cultivated expertise in individual, family, and group counseling with sensitivity to language differences/disorders and/or multiple disabilities.
