We can all benefit from talking to someone at some point in our lives whether it be regarding stress, anxiety, frustration, irritability, anger, depressed mood or something in particular in your life that you need to vent about in a safe, nonjudgmental space to someone who will listen genuinely and empathetically. From these sessions you can both gain and lose. For example, you can lose things you have been holding on to and gain freedom and clarity. You can unlearn negative patterns of thinking or unwanted behaviors and learn some new skills and coping techniques.
