When you are suffering, it's easy to feel discouraged and alone. Challenges can seem overwhelming, people you trust often let you down, and hope is hard to hold onto. You may struggle to understand and accept yourself or to feel understood and accepted by others. If you choose to trust me with your story, we will work together to change the painful aspects of your narrative into an experience of empowerment and authentic connection. We will identify where you came from (your life experiences and the beliefs you internalized from them), where you are (your strengths and struggles), and where you are going (who you hope to become). I bring extensive life experience to the table as a wife (married 18 years), mother of four, and informal foster mom of a young adult. I also know what it is like to suffer due to one of my children enduring a prolonged and life-threatening medical crisis. Navigating that experience involved rearranging my life, reforming my identity, and refining my faith.
