Welcome and congratulations on considering couples therapy! I primarily work with couples who are highly motivated, and ready to actively work on their relationship. Many of the couples I work with are stressed, struggle with communicating, and may even be close to ending their relationship. I also work with couples who are interested in enhancing an already stable relationship. The couples I work with are seeking hands-on direction, support, and tools to improve their communication and connection. View 4 Photos The program I offer to couples includes an initial assessment, a 2 hour intake to identify treatment goals, followed by regularly scheduled sessions, and work assigned between sessions to support the goals. I use the evidenced-based Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy to facilitate interventions that improve communication and build intimacy.
