My name Is Amelia. I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Louisiana. My approach to therapy very person centered, as I focus on what goals the person would want to achieve and assist making the plan to achieve them. I am skilled in cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motional interviewing, DBT therapy, solution focused therapy, and positive psychology. Due to the nature of mental health disorders, I work with, I would say my approach to therapy is basically helping you get through life as life continues to occur.
