Hello! As a counselor who began counseling as a second career, I have a wealth of life experience that I find helpful when meeting with clients. I will combine this life experience with my formal training in order to help you find healing. I enjoy working with clients who have various challenges including grief, trauma, relationship issues, depression, and anxiety. Because I believe our spiritual beliefs are an integral part of who we are, I specialize in helping clients consider how their spiritual beliefs might impact their journey to wholeness. In addition, I have sought additional training in the area of trauma and enjoy using EMDR techniques to help my clients overcome their tendency to re-experience trauma related symptoms. This combined with a Cognitive Behavioral Approach has proven to be helpful in overcoming pain from the past.
