I believe clients are the experts on themselves, so I’ll never pretend to know you better than you already know yourself. I work to use a compassionate approach to listen, empathize, and point out observations of steps towards healing. My clinical experience ranges from working with elementary students, teens, and adults. I’ve especially enjoyed gaining experience and expertise in working with young adults, the LGBTQIA+ community, and folks who are religious or formerly so. I am passionate about cultivating a therapy space where deep healing work can happen, walking alongside clients in both their joys and struggles. I use a psychodynamic approach and aim to identify & work with what wounds are found under the surface that is causing presenting troubles or concerns. This can mean taking a look at our underlying beliefs about ourselves, others, and how we navigate in the world. Another way is exploring childhood & the impact of our early relationships and memories.
