Every counselor has a different approach, personality, and feel. Good counseling usually means there is a good fit between you and your therapist. So, it’s important that you feel comfortable talking to me. I try to create a connection where you feel accepted, understood, and supported. Once we’re comfortable together, talking about complicated things (anger, depression, anxiety, relationships) becomes a lot easier. Some people may feel comfortable right away. Some take time to get there. I hope to talk about what’s important to you and hopefully do something about it.
