My clients' goals are often to understand the feelings that are not logical or rational. Many have survived specific traumatic events or those that accumulate over the course of a life. I specialize in trauma, substance use disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorders; working with teens and adults. As a therapist trained in EMDR and certified in ERP. I work closely with those struggling with troubling emotions which interfere in day-to-day life. Eye movement desensitization & reprocessing (EMDR) and ERP are evidenced based interventions. EMDR has been proven to help with traumatic experience, other troubling life events; ERP successfully treats OCD.
